BECOMING A MODEL URBAN DISTRICT:  The Madison Metropolitan School District has a simple but bold vision – that every school will be a thriving school that prepares every student to graduate from high school ready for college, career and community. We know that vision doesn't come to life without the very best leaders throughout our district. We are focused on becoming a model urban school district that serves our children and families better than ever before. Our strategy as a district is captured in our strategic framework(https://www.madison.k12.wi.us/framework), which was developed with input from staff, students, parents and the community. We have made exciting progress as a district and to continue moving forward, we believe we must stay incredibly focused, keep schools at the center and strive for a culture of excellence and equity for all students and educators.

We know this vision doesn’t come to life without dynamic leaders in every school.  For more information on our teacher screening and selection process please visit TEACH Madison (https://hr.madison.k12.wi.us/teach-madison).
